Patients can contact the practice between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm Monday to Friday. Our reception staff may use a triage system to assess the urgency of the patient’s needs and concerns. If required, your phone call will be put through to our triage nurse, who will advise accordingly. The nursing staff will liaise with your GP to help you.We do not put calls through, as a general rule, to the medical practitioners during working hours to avoid unnecessary interruptions. Matters such as scripts and referrals will necessitate an appointment.

Most medical queries will require an appointment, which our receptionist will arrange for you. Please note that a voice mail service is unavailable. If you are calling to make a booking, this can also be done conveniently via our website or Auto Med

EMAIL
Email is not a secure form of communication and is not encouraged. Patients must be aware that any communication they direct to the surgery via email is also NOT secure and confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. Patients communicating through email do so at their own risk.

If you do choose to contact the surgery via email, this is considered as patient consent to reply via email. Our staff endeavour to respond to email messages within 24 hours. If you have an issue that requires urgent attention, we request that you contact the practice via telephone.

We do not take requests for diagnosis, opinions, scripts, referrals, appointments, or any other clinical treatment via email.
